A question the client often receives is “what is the job really like?” Job listings often run together in the reader’s mind and telling the differences between a job at AT&T and a similar job at a competitor can be difficult. The #LifeAtATT blog was created to to solve for those problems. By sharing real employee stories, show what it’s like to actually work at the company. They also talk about the culture of the company and unique benefits only at AT&T. The casual tone made it easier for readers relate and added a human touch that job listings were lacking.

We approached this employee story with two goals: spotlight a nontraditional career path at the company and talk about exciting new technology. I conducted multiple interviews with Allen and researched the different types of drones in-use by AT&T to write it.

AT&T is a large company made up of people with very different skills working towards a shared goal. We used a new product launch to look at the development process and find out how all teams play a part in making it happen. From a job marketing perspective, we wanted to show off how many different opportunities they could explore at the company and the ability to see your ideas realized if you have a passion to innovate.

During a natural disaster, communication is one of our most vital resources. AT&T has a large network of professionals who deploy at a moment's notice to keep service up. I conducted interviews with a veteran member of that team to share his stories and provide our job seeking audience a glimpse into the kind of important work they can be a part of at AT&T. It's not just a job; it's for the greater good.

We were asked to create content around the recently revamped B2B Sales Development Program. The program was combatting poor word of mouth about previous iterations. Several articles were written to show the participant, alumni, and leadership perspectives. For the leadership angle, I sat down with Chris for an interview to break down the program changes, the company culture, and tells candidates why they should apply.
